About of Township of Severn
Severn is a township located in Simcoe County in the province of Ontario and was formed in 1994, as part of the restructuring of Simcoe County, by amalgamating the village of Coldwater with the townships of Matchedash and Orillia, plus portions of the townships of Medonte and Tay. Severn had a population of 13,477 as of 2016, decreasing 8.9% from 2011 according to Statistics Canada.
