Bankruptcy Services
Over the past generation, people have turned to Bankruptcy Services for a new start and second chance. Bankruptcy Services can provide both of these things and more: Bankruptcy Services is an important option when you're in debt and looking for a way out or when you've already fallen behind but want to find a solution that gets you back on track.
Personal Bankruptcy
Personal bankruptcy is a legal proceeding that may be applied to individuals as a solution to dealing with debt. Personal bankruptcy comes in two forms, either as a summary administration or ordinary administration (projected realization in excess of $15,000.00).
Corporate Bankruptcy
Corporate bankruptcy is a complex process that requires a lot of care and attention, but with a licensed insolvency trustee, it can be run smoothly. Corporate entities may be unable to meet their payment schedules, which often results in an inability to pay off debts. Corporate bankruptcy is different from individual bankruptcy as corporate bankruptcy operates on a business level whereas individual bankruptcy operates on an individual level.
Proposals to Creditors
Proposals to creditors consist of a debtor making an offer to creditors on how money and/or property can be distributed. Proposals may also include arrangements for the repayment of debts, such as proposal to creditors due to financial difficulties. It often involves payments of less than 100% of the debt owed. Proposals to creditors are governed by the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and Regulations as well as provincial legislation applicable in your jurisdiction.
Debt Management
Debt Management helps the client by negotiating with creditors and getting them to accept lower payments than what is owed, either through an agreement of future payment or a lump sum settlement. It has many benefits, such as a reduced interest rate, reduced fees and a reduced total amount to be repaid overall. Debt Management can also help prevent clients from going into bankruptcy.
Reduce Debt
Reduce Debt is a service offered by a trustee to a debtor in a financial situation where they have too much debt, and not enough money to pay it all off. Reduce Debt reduces the amount of this debt by either settling or renegotiating with creditors. Reduce Debt may also be used to consolidate high-interest rate credit cards so that the debtor only has one monthly payment at a lower interest rate.
Debt Consolidation
Debt consolidation offers a solution by consolidating debt by taking out a new loan to pay off your current debts. Debt consolidation has many benefits for people who have high levels of debt and find it difficult to keep track of all their repayments. Debt Consolidation can also help you save money (reducing interest and fees) as well as reducing stress of keeping track of numerous payments that are required to be made on a monthly basis.
Credit Rebuilding
Credit Rebuilding consists of several components that help you build your credit score. Credit rebuilding can occur when there is a reason for the disruption of the credit building process, such as an error or changing jobs. Credit rebuilding involves dealing with the reason why you are or were in debt.
